Parents

We have a special focus on treating parents who are struggling with trauma, anxiety, and depression. Many of the parents we see are facing prenatal or postpartum anxiety and depression others are overcoming issues that raising children has triggered.

If you have lost a parent, suffered childhood abuse, neglect, or trauma, or are struggling to have the relationship with your child that you had hoped for therapy may be a good way to overcome those obstacles.

We offer support and assistance to women who you have been feeling alone and scared about what they are experiencing as they adjust to their role as a mother and may be dealing with a prenatal or postpartum mood and anxiety disorder. We provide a safe place to help women and their families work through this period of intense transition and come to a place of peace, joy, and stability within themselves and with their families. We are committed to raising awareness about Perinatal Mood and Anxiety disorders and providing the services families can use to overcome this very treatable issue.

We also work with parents who may not be in the postpartum period but are struggling with a particular aspect of parenting. Many of the parents we see are overcoming their own childhood adversity and trauma. Therapy can be a way to get your emotional issues in order so that they don’t interfere with your parenting choices and you can be the parent you want to be.
